4Ocean is by far my favorite brand of all time!
(I am not affiliated with this company in any way. I just love what they are doing!)
As you probably know, my thing is ocean conservation. I dream of a world with clean oceans, and educated people that understand how to make that possible. I'm doing what I can from landlocked Atlanta, Georgia, USA by promoting an eco-conscious lifestyle. And one of those things is supporting companies like 4Ocean.
I am a part of the monthly club/clean oceans club where I pay $20/month, get a bracelet that supports an ocean-related species, and pull a pound a trash out of the seas.
I have been a loyal customer and supporter since Fall of 2018.
Let me tell you why!
They have recovered 8,667,073 lbs of trash from the ocean since 2017! And that number keeps updating daily!
(You can watch it on their website)
They have cleanup projects happening in Bali, Florida, Haiti, and Guatemala.
Their website and social media sites are constantly being updated with educational information not just about what 4Ocean is doing, but also about current ocean conservation topics.
They are so friendly! Every time I mention them on social media they respond to me within 24 hours with personalized questions or information.
I've been a part of the monthly program for 19 months. That is a lot of bracelets.
You're probably thinking that's a waste of money because I'm not going to wear all of them.
And, you're right. I'm not going to wear all of them. But, you're wrong because it is not a waste of money! 4Ocean bracelets are great gifts! Many times people I meet or friends I have will ask me about my bracelets or compliment them, and after telling the story, I just give one to them. They feel special and they learned new information about ocean conservation and can continue to share the message. I feel great because I got to pull and pound and share that message! :)
Change begins with you. One baby step at a time.
Right now, during quarantine, there is not much we can do when it comes to volunteering, but we can support companies that are able to make a difference like 4Ocean and Cleancult.
